Vehicle lock-out?
The Directorate of Emergency Services performs vehicle lock-out response as a service to post personnel who accidentally lock their keys in their personally-owned vehicles.
These calls are placed at the bottom of the response procedures and are on a first-call, first-served basis; higher priority and emergency calls are met first.
DES averages more than 100 lock-out calls per month. Numerous locksmiths operate in the area for an average of $80 per vehicle.
If you cannot wait for DES response, feel free to use area locksmiths. Children or pets locked in a vehicle will receive a higher-response priority.
