DES tip
Shoplifting is a crime. If you do it, you will get caught, get a criminal record, be prosecuted and fined. For Soldiers it means an Article 15 with reduction in rank and loss of pay. For civilians and Family members, it means a fine and being barred from post by the installation commander. Juveniles will appear before the Juvenile Review Board and repay the facility, be barred from entering any post retail shops for one year, receive community service and possibly be barred from post.
