Benefit sale
BeauCARE, a United Way agency, hosts a garage sale Saturday from 7-11 a.m. at 628 High School Drive in DeRidder. All proceeds will benefit BeauCARE’s after-school program which provides youth ages 6-18 a healthy snack, homework help, tutoring, recreation and volunteer opportunities in a safe environment with caring adults. Youth soccer
American Youth Soccer Organization 1459 holds spring soccer registration Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Wal-Mart in Leesville. The cost is $50 for new players and $30 for returning players. Adult education
The Vernon Parish School Board offers adult education classes at the West Leesville Elementary Annex building on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Fund-raiser foot race
