During a bike-a-thon held at Wheelock-Bayou Fitness Center June 20, this bicycle, donated by Fort Polk’s Directorate of Emergency Services, was raffled off and the winner is Taylor Anderson (second from right). Matthew Anderson (right) won a bicycle helmet, also donated by DES. Pictured with the winners are Josefina Taijeron (left), physical fitness specialist with Wheelock, and DES police officer Donald Karamales. Another bike-a-thon is planned for the fall.
