Get the clubs out and dust them off. The Southern Senior Golf Tour is coming to Fort Polk’s Warrior Hills Golf Course.
The SSGT is a professional developmental golf tour with some of the finest senior players in the country, and they’re dedicating the 2010 season to playing with and for the military. The party kicks off March 28 at 3 p.m. The professionals are offering a golf clinic to Soldiers at the Warrior Hills Golf Course. This is your chance to learn from some of the best.
The clinic is followed by a meet-and-greet at Mulligan’s at 6 p.m. where golfers can join the pros for autographs, drinks and finger food. Tournament teams will be determined at this time.
The tournament is open to seven local players ages 48 and older with a handicap of 8 or under. The tournament begins March 29 and the winners will be crowned March 31. For more information call 531-1982 or visit www.southernseniorgolftour.com.
